What is included on a Beaufort River Tour?

• You and your crew get a fully outfitted Coast Guard Inspected Vessel rated to carry up to 14 passengers to yourselves along with a professional, licensed/insured captain/guide. Private trips are not shared with people not in your crew.

• A.C.E Basin & Monkey Island Tours can take up to 6 passengers.

Where do we meet for a Beaufort River Tour?

• Our primary location is at the Port Royal Landing Marina.

• The Address is: 1 Port Royal Landing Dr, Port Royal, SC 29935

What if there is bad weather?

• We will not take you out in conditions you will not enjoy. If unexpected bad weather occurs on a trip we will promptly return to the marina.

• If the weather is bad we will either cancel and fully refund your trip or reschedule your trip if you would like to try another time.

How do I book a trip?

• Click Here > select the type of trip you want > select a date > select an available trip time > select your group size > Then follow the remaining prompts.

• You can also book by calling and inquire about trip via email.

• We are a small business so if you call and we do not answer we are probably on the boat. Please leave a voicemail or send us an email and we will respond ASAP.

How much does a Beaufort River Tour cost?

• Trip cost very depending on the amount of time and number of passengers.

• Our 90min private trip prices start with a 1-6 passenger base price of $275. There is increasing pricing tiers for 7-8 passengers ($325), 9-10 passenger ($375), and 11-14 passengers ($475).

• Our 2hr private trip prices start with a 1-6 passenger base price of $335. There is increasing pricing tiers for 7-8 passengers ($385), 9-10 passenger ($435), and 11-14 passengers ($535).

• Gratuity is not required but it is appreciated.

What is the best time to see dolphins, birds, etc?

• At all times of the day dolphins have to regularly come up for air where they can be observed. There is not one time of the day that is better than others for seeing them.

• For dedicated birding trips there are some tides we would not recommend so feel free to call ahead before booking.

Can we bring food or drinks?

• Yes, you can bring meals, snacks, drinks, and alcohol on your trip.

Are there restrooms on the boat?

• Our boat does not have restrooms. There are public restrooms located at the Port Royal Landing Marina were we depart from and return to.

Is there shade on the boat?

• The back area (4 seats) of the Beaufortonian is shaded from most sun angles.

Can we bring dogs?

• Yes, dogs are welcome on our trips.

What is your cancelation policy?

• Customers will receive a full refund with 24 hours notice of cancellation. Customers will also receive a full refund in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Contact us by phone or email to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full price.
